Are you kidding me? #9 is good but there is NO WAY he is better than #7! Looks to me like he's recruiting all his buddies to vote for him. You may get the most votes #9 but you are NOT the best talent here....#7 is. Just my opinion :p

Wow ..not sure what Candice is talking about #9 is Great... !! And #7 is o.k. not sure what kind of dance she is doing,, thought this was singing talent. I agree with Candice. #9 is a popularity vote. Kandy if knew about music you would know the reason she is snapping her fingers and moving is because she is feeling the rythm through her body. She is about soul and spirit. Look up your histroy with diva's and famous singers (not pop artist that are fake) when u look at them preforming theyare not standing like a statue. They are moving with the beat. #7 is the best one on this talent searh. Wow!!!! She sent goose bumps through my body. Please people if u are going to vote , do it on TALENT not popularity.

I wish people would make this a contest on talent and NOT popularity. #7 has talent. She obviously knows how to sing and gets the beat going. May the BEST singer win! Time will tell the REAL talent! Go #7!!!!

Two people go thru, this is the first week. they both will go thru, they both will get to sing live, and in front of people.. then everyone, can judge.

I have 2 computers...I voted once for #6 and once for #7. They are both wonderful talents and they both represent DREW MIDDLE SCHOOL in a positive and beautiful way! GO RAMS! The students and staff are so proud of you Amber and Yasmin! You guys deserve this because you are both phenomenal talents but most of all- just fabulous women all around! The things you both do for the students at Drew does not go unnoticed and is enough is my book to make you both winners! Best of luck to all but my votes are in!

Both #7 and #9 are great. But saying it's a popularity vote, you're just ignorant. I could say the same about #7, she looks like she's in a School... so who knows, she could be manipulating her students in to voting for her. And by the sound of these comments, she's getting the "popular" vote aswell. Sounds kinda hypocritical, doesn't it?

She is not being voted on popularity. listen to her voice compared to everyone else. There is no hypocrisy going on. Yes she is my best friend and if u knew her in person you would never say she is manipulating people to vote for her. thats not her style. God bless all. You are so correct Phil. This is not a popularity contest. This is serious to the contestants I'm sure. Everyone should vote on the best vocal sounds, not just because they go to Drew Middle School. So cast your votes for the right reason everyone. Wouldn't it be embarrassing to win the contest because of popularity and make a real fool of yourself because you can't carry a tune. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and there is no need to be so hostile about it. It takes a lot of courage to sing in front of people whether it's live or on a video. I think that in itself is commendable. As far as popularity...of course thats going to be a factor! Just look at what happened on the real American Idol with Sanjaya. That guy was horrible but people's votes kept him in. Sisco- what does Drew have anything to do with it? Based on DrewFan's post BOTH #6 and #7 are from that school....but ONLY ONE is getting votes. So the argument that #7 is getting votes because she works at a school is null and void. Sounds to me like she's getting votes because she's a great singer! #9 is good too! I can't wait to see these people live. Stage presence is a big one so I just hope they won't just stand there but give us a show! Good luck to all of you!

QUESTION: 1. Why does #9 say that the song is from "Boyz II Men" when it's by the group Shai? And 2. If you guys have to sing a song that's on that FEATURED LIST... then he's infact disqualified BECAUSE Shai's NOT ON THE LIST!! 3. I personally happen to LOVE that song "If I Ever Fall In Love" and the fact that he F*d up the lyrics has left a bit of a sour dance on my tastebuds... LOL!!! "Yes she is my best friend" I stopped right there. What differentiates yourself from not being a "popular" vote. Because of your friendship, you don't have the option to vote for someone else. I don't really understand why you're saying people shouldn't vote for their friend...because after all, that's what you're doing. And don't BS about only voting for #7 because of her voice, there's no doubt your friendship influences your vote. But atleast you get serenaded by her.

Okay. kemah7882. The song is originally done by Shai. But Boyz II Men remade it into an acapella verson. Obviously not illegally. So its also their song. You all are retarded. Number 7 is a fine singer. But obviously number 9 is better. He has more votes. And its doubtful that he recruited all of 257 people to vote for him. Its apparent that he deserves to be in first place. Regardless. They choose the top two to be in the finals. Where both number 7 and number 9 will perform their songs in the same setting with the same judges, no "popularity votes". Which I'm sure number 7 has plenty of as well. You people need to get over it. If you care so much, put up your own video and get out of everyone else's butts. :)
