If you know in advance that there is a limit on how much you can throw away might you think more about what you buy in the first place? You can still have your parties and accomodate visitors with reusable products, products made with minimal packaging or compostable products. Once you get used to it... which doesn't take long... and enjoy the benefits of more funding for Beverly to do the things you really want everyone will benefit.
