Which franchises do we want to continue? (Multiple Choice)

The problem with having this many choices on a survey is that the results are not very exciting (e.g., 6% like this one, 4% like that one, etc). A more interesting poll would have only 4 or 5 choices. After all, there are many options on your poll that are unnecessary. I mean Police Story, Riddick, Blade? Sure you might get 3 people who choose those but why bother.

I agree with Jeff W. on this one. The poll would be more effective if you let people just 'write in' their own choices, and then counted them. Or, citing just a half dozen past/existing franchises. But here's my 2¢ on the list:

Blade - Snipes still nails it - keep going. Borne - Obviously, he can't start going back to work for the 'company'. Pierce Brosnan has been the closest thing to Connery, so other then him coming back, who cares for Bond anymore - sorry Danny Craig. Back to the Future - Hello! No more Michael J. Fox! Die Hard - Willis is getting old, and he's too good an actor to keep playing the one dimensional McClane. The Godfather - Leave the ultimate gangster classic be, as it cannot be improved upon. The Exorcist - She's cured. Fast and Furious - Watch NASCAR, if you want car wrecks. Indy Jones - Again, H.F. too old. Chronicles of Riddick - Maybe. Mission Impossible - Not singularly dependent upon Cruise to keep playing the lead - Unending stories/plots to mine, and too many ways to still show bad guys being fooled by high-tech ingenuity - go on forever. Jurassic Park - Unless they invent new dinosaurs, they can't improve on what they've already done - just keep away from the dino's mouth. LOTR - Maybe - Plenty of worlds and characters to show-off. Batman - Just keep making them like the last two. Pirates & Police Story - Who cares!!! It was a DISNEY ride!!! Never mind, police stories work best on TV. Spiderman - Again, make them like the first two - keep going. Star Wars & Star Trek - Trek was ALWAYS better, so keep going - Movies, 95% made in a virtual world, VIRTUALLY ALWAYS SUCK. Terminator - Let's see what happens in #4. The Matrix - ENDED. Underworld - No more Beckinsale - bahh, humbug. X-Men - Keeping it exciting and surprising - keep going. In "Other", I wrote in wanting to see two franchises go on - The Wild Wild West - YES PLEASE - Because it should have never been made with Will Smith, and it was always interesting seeing 100 year old 'high-tech', wrapped in good stories. And lastly... Highlander - Why? Because the Highlander TV program, showed how good the movies could have been. Just my opinion...
