I totally agree with Michael :) Frank did an awesome job, totally owning up to his selfcertainty(is that a proper word?) in season 4 about not crashing the chopper (what kind of pilot do you think I am?!).
I would like to give Sawyer an honourable mention thoug, for another reason than stated in the poll. I would like to congratulate James for finally stepping up to Jack and confront him about his poor leadership qualities up till now. Almost no one dared/cared to do this, and so therefore Jack never really got balanced feedback. Hopefully this will finally shake him awake and will mark the beginning point of his true heroism (because hey, they writers have said from the beginning that he will be the ultimate hero of the show, right? Haven't seem much of that yet...).
Then again, I wouldn't mind if TPTB changed there mind and made James their new main man. They did that for season 5 and I am loving every bit of it. Who would have thought I would ever feel this way after my ultimate low point with Sawyer when he stole the guns and all. There's a new sheriff in town had certainly gotten a whole new meaning :)

The way things were going this season, I never thought I'd be voting against Sawyer in a character poll, but I have to admit it, Frank really did do an excellent job of landing that plane and reassuring the passengers once everyone was out. Okay, perhaps he shouldn't have gone and abandoned them to go with Sun, but hey, nobody's perfect. ;)
