MWF 10 AM The lack of Indian educational classes is wrong. Indian history has shaped our country incredibly, and we need to spend more time educating Americans. U.S. history is taught, but it would not be around without Indians and their history.

MWF 9:00-- Indian history should definitely be taught in schools. Before taking this class, the only information about Indians that I had been introduced to was in 4th grade for just a couple of weeks. I wish I would have had more education about them. I think all schools should introduce Indian history at least at some level because it is information we all need to know.
How unfortunate that we have to think about passing legislation to educate people on any part of the history of their own country and culture.

schools should not be required to teach indian history classes. american high school students have already demonstrated an inability to compete with students in other countries in math and science classes. requiring them to take classes on indian history would only increase this problem as it would take attention away from math and science.

I feel that all history pertaining to the United States, and all documented history of this land should be mandatory curriculum. I don't know if there should necessarily be a class devoted to it, but at least a significant unit in a U.S history class.
