Who is the best pro tight end prospect without a NFL combine invite?

First off love the blog... great stuff. As far as tight ends I think you have been overlooking UCONN's Steve Brouse and I understand why. He broke his leg his senior year and had to have 2 operations and thus didn't get invited to the combine or any post season games. However its not a serious injury and from what I've heard he is on his way back. Coming into the season he was rated by Blesto or National (I forget which one) as a top 10 tight end. Part of the problem was the ineptness of UCONN's passing game. You put him with a decent QB the numbers shoot up. Look for him to have a nice pro day for UCONN on March 25. He has been working out at Testfootball in North Jersey. Rumor is that the Giants Tight Ends coach is coming up to UCONN on March 30 for a private workout with him. Like I said great stuff on the blog. Go Huskies
