I think it's horribly wrong to make taxpayers pay for something so controversial if they don't believe in what the tax money is paying for. Personally, I don't want my tax money paying to destroy a human being for testing purposes. I am not an animal, nor will I ever be one. I was made in the image of God, along with every other human being, and everything else that is was made by Him!!!!! A lot of people don't want to admit that and even think it's stupid, but one day we will all know the truth!!!!

Anyone who truly researches this subject will realize that the few gains that have been made in stem cell research were NOT with embryonic stem cells, but rather with adult stem cells that can be taken from a living adult host.
Embryonic stem cell research is a massive waste of government dollars, as well as being completely unethical.
Unfortunately we don't get to pick & choose what our elected officials spend out money on once they've got it in their hands. There's a lot they spend I don't agree with but never the less they spend it anyway.
Some folks religious beliefs shouldn't dictate how the rest of us live. Leave religion out of it. IMHO stem cell research will benefit the human race and help find cures for many diseases.
