Trying2BEenlightened has no idea of the spiritual ream that Obama is leading our nation into. We have already went to far with Roe vs Wade, funding overseas abortion with our tax dollars and now this. Call me a brute, I don't trust any one in government or associated with government to set standards or practical guidelines. The view of what determines an excellent job depends on which god or God you report to. The light you see "intellectual", don't be fooled, it could be the angel of light.

I am glad to see intellectual light shining once again in this great nation.

It is a truly sad day when legislators and policy makers determine the depth, breadth, and height of intellectual inquiry. Please, please, please have no fear of anyone 'going too far'. We do an excellent job in this country of watching such things. And the NIH will do its job and set ethical standards and practical guidelines.

Please, don’t hang back with the brutes.

So sad! The killing of human life! And now we are forced to pay for it. And the result will be a delay in finding the very cures the supporters of embryonic stem cell research espouse. By funding unsuccessful embryonic stem cell research, we are depriving successful adult stem cell research from achieving cures. May God have mercy on us!
