As a Canadian, I am shocked and dismayed that Americans would consider Sarah Palin as leader of the Republican Party. I was aghast when George Bush won a second term. President Obama may not be perfect, but the world cheered when he won the election, and he at least has a global vision. Try to remember what condition America was in when Obama took the helm. Sarah Palin, when asked about foreign policy, said "I can see Russia from my house". And people think she is smart and sexy? Globally, we were hoping that we were going to see real change in US politics, but it appears that Americans aren't ready to make those necessary changes. In Canada, we may not be thrilled with our prime minister, but considering the competition he is the best choice at this point. Which only means that if a strong and serious leader arises in another party, he will likely be voted out. Americans need to be long range thinkers rather than the self-centered views many now hold.

Vote away, have some fun, enjoy yourself. No one reads this stuff. Michael are you there? I am still trying to figure out why McCain rolled over for Obama? It is generally about money. However, in this case that is not the case.

He is a brave man, but they said something that scared the shit out of him. It reminds me of that fellow who changed his vote on the Healthcare Bill. What was his name? Stupak, Stypac? Then he decides not to run again.....

Could it be that J. Edgar Hoover is alive? Open that lead-lined coffin of his and take a look-see.

There sure seem to be Hoovarian tactics going down in Washington, on Penn. Ave.

BO is and will continue to be the very best thing to happen to the Republican party in years, the boyish bully of the playground, the empty suit, his porch light is on but NO ONE IS HOME!, a rank amateur, etc. etc... Can't you just see him looking into the mirror each morning and recognizing the phony baloney looking back at him, feeling the sense of inevitability slipping away day by day, that choking feeling of drowning in your own slobber. Way to go!!

Hey HumboldtBlue you can't talk to Sarah that, I know snarkasm when read it you biig stupid head. That's the problem with you libruls, worryin bout all that useless stuff like policy, bridges and stupid regulations. Just like some stupid librul I heard the other day thinkin he's smarter than everybody else talkin bout CFTC being blocked...if Rush ain't mention it...it must be librul bias and that Buffet-boy's fault.
You better leave Phil Gramm alone too! How can Phil be blockin regulations if it's Fannie and Freddie's fault? I'm poor as hell, but we need to cut taxes on the rich so Sarah can make it rain!!! cause I know if she was workin the pole I would definitely make it drizzzle!

  • Manamongst Hussein - 15 years ago

    Hey,

This is great!!! Conservative grassroots at it's best!!!

And what's even more ironic I just gave $3,000 to SarahPAC because she is soooo hot!!! And well, I have no clue what she stand and where she stands but the libruls hate her so she can't be that damaging. She looks so smart in those glasses, no wonder she couldn't answer that Couric girl's stupid question about magazines and newspapers she reads...I bet it was too many to name. Besides I KNOW I'm smart; it took me 6 years to get out of college too!

  • Kip Winger - 15 years ago

It was hard to type through all the starbursts that went off when I saw her picture there on the page, but I just donated another $100,000 to SarahPAC because Sarah drives the moonbats crazy and nothing's more important to me than irritating libruls.

Hopefully Rush will come in high.(On the poll) I identify with his 3 divorces, multiple drug felonies, draft-dodging, and sex tourism.

    all this sarcasm...

i'm a believer that anyone who is caught returning from the dominican republic with a combination of viagara and oxycontin is probably...well, one possibility is that the dominican republic has a reputation for being a haven for underage prostitution of the boy and girl variety. we know that rush wasn't travelling with a girlfriend, so the viagara was probably for somebody.

me, i allege that mr. limbaugh was there to drug and rape underage prostitutes. there is an infinity more circumstantial evidence for this claim then there is for a) the claim that lowering top marginal tax rates helps the economy or b) that barack obama was born in kenya, so surely my claim merits serious consideration by conservatives.

I just donated $50,000 dollars to SarahPac because she's umm, cute and funny an' stuff, and she really knew how to handle those bastards in the MSM by telling them just where they could shove their pork sausages.

I mean, there is no one in the party with bigger balls than Palin, no one. She's got a set of brass ones that are like giant doorknockers.

Who else could be the leader of the GOP other than a witch doctor worshiping housewife who has a teenaged-mom- droput for a daughter; whose future son-in-law was raised by a meth dealer and who spends six months a year charging her fellow citizens to live at home?

I mean, other than a stupid, drunken rich frat boy, who else could embody so much of what the GOP has to offer than Palin? She's incurious and blatantly stupid. She can't speak in coherent sentences, she's vindictive and a victim of everything and everybody. Please, Palin/Limbaugh 2012, that is our salvation, that is our winning ticket.

  • muki - 15 years ago

Finally, the American Right has found their perfect champion, a figurehead worthy of their sociopolitical philosophy.

I heartily endorse No One for leader of the GOP.

No One can remove the stigma of cronyism, corruption & contempt for freedom from the Republicans in the wake of 8 years of Bush-Cheney incompetance & kleptocracy. No One will unite the Republicans in time for them to make signifigant gains in the 2010 midterms. No One has the answers to the many troubling issues confronting the Republican Party today. No One can defeat That One in the polls four years from now, & restore the GOP to power.

I also endorse Palin to reprise her role as VP candidate ... because she did such an awesome job of helping McCain to win last time. Also.

    No One/Palin 2012!

St. Stupid's Day is 4/1. Unite on the one and only high holy in San Francisco for the parade! You're bound to find a leader somewhere among the assembled masses (hint: it's not the guy in the yellow and green clown suit walking a fish on a leash).

Is Jonathan Krohn listed? Sadly, no. So I voted Rush. Politics is the art of the possible.

yes, but has anyone actually SEEN, with their own eyes, limbaugh's birth certificate?

Dude, you've added 3 zeroes that don't belong. And the sign for "cents" is a little 'c' with a single vertical line through the middle.

The last time you saw one thousand dollars was when your mom let her blowjob cash pile up for several weeks while her favorite crack dealer was incommunicado.

  • Upgreyedd - 15 years ago

The leader, not listed here, is Ronald Reagan. All decisions, no matter how minute, still have to pass through the nattering nabobs of neo-conservatism and be tested with the question...

    "What would Reagan do?"

..and then they do what the most holy of dear leaders would have done. Run up huge deficits, subvert the constitution and have the servants tell Mommy they're going to take a nice nap.

  • TunePangs - 15 years ago

Sarah and Rush come in tied for 2nd after "no one"? Well, at least the leader of the Republican party has more intelligence than those two combined. I love it that the conservative party has become the party of the uneducated proletariat. Yay!

  • forked tongue - 15 years ago

I'm pretty sure Rush would be able to lead a delegation of Republican congressmen on a tour of the best brothels in the Dominican Republic.

The Republicans have a smart, skilled and experienced leader ready to lead the Party back into power -- whoops, nevermind, Rush ate him.

  • justme - 15 years ago

I'm not sure what's sadder. A whole lot of folks putting in the losing veep candidate, or that she comes in second to "No one". I guess one thing is clear, the Republican leadership, isn't.

  • ProudUtahn - 15 years ago

Rush Limbaugh: He's got the smarts, the political savvy, and the right personality to lead the GOP against the Dims and traitors in the party. President HUSSEIN thinks he's clever going after him, just wait until General Rush springs his trap and catapults himself to the presidency!

I voted other not named, because it is clear to me that the leader of the Republican Party is Barack Hussein Obama. When you add the "Cross The Isle Folks" to the "Bipartisan Folks" in the Republican Party, who all have no principles that they stand for, Obama controls the majority of Republicans in the Congress and is therefore their Messiah and their Leader. The rest of the Republicans work in his Cabinet, so no comment about these traitors in the Republican Party is required.

"The American People wants us to work together". No I think not!! The American People want you to do what is in their best interest regardless of the Political consequences (America First). Secondly, If you are a Republican, act like a Republican. If you are a Democrat, act like a Democrat. That is what the Messiah of the Republican Party, Obama, does. Obama is truly a Liberal Democrat. If the American People can not tell the difference between a Republican and a Democrat, Hello!! There is no difference. As far as I am concerned we are controled by one party in America, The "Greedy Party", and Barack is the supreme leader of it at this time. Mr. Steele, if you read this, don't ask me for a donation to support the Democrats, Republicans, The Greedy Party, or the President you voted for in your heart, even if you didn't vote for Barack at the polls. I can see the love you have for the Messiah in your eyes, just like I see that love in all the African American's eyes. I just know Jesus Christ is jealous and maybe God too.

    Peace

Right now, Sarah Palin is the ONLY republican who has shown leadership ability. She is a capable, and energetic leader in her state, she has cut her state budget, imposed a hiring freeze, was smart enough to forward fund education. She recently signed a $500 million deal to build a natural gas pipeline through Canada to the lower 48, and is moving forward on constructing an in-state pipeline as well. She has rejected 50 percent of the so-called stimulus money, accepting only that which will go for infrastructure projects, about half of which Alaska would have gotten anyway. Jindal has turned down only $98 million out of approximately $9 billion for his state, Sanford has turned down only unemployment benefits, but accepted all other funds. Palin has taken on the environmental whackos, as well as the "animal rights" fanatics, and has defeated every effort by the 0bama loyalists in her state to derail her governorship. She is a woman of extreme courage, grace, and strength, as well has having strong conservative convictions, something that the GOP has lacked for a very long time.

  • bestbud - 15 years ago

Obama is the BEST thing that ever happened for the Republican party a clear and concise differentiation emerges every day, tea parties are showing up all across the country, a ground swell of grass root conservative activism is now engaged, a LINE IS BEING DRAWN IN THE SAND!!!.. and we are saying loud and clear to the dems NO YOUR NOT!!!!.. I just donated another $1000 to SarahPAC because of the Palin bashers. Here's to Obama, keep up the spending, the pork and the Chicago politics we love IT!!

  • Righteous Bubba - 15 years ago

Although I voted for "No One"; Sarah is the de-facto leader of the GOP.

I agree: the stupid corrupt lady is the leader.

  • AJackson - 15 years ago

The GOP is leaderless, rudderless, and taking on water. If they want a shot at taking back Congress in 2010, they had better get a credible spokesperson to articulate the goals of the party. Oh, wait - they need to define the goals of the party. Hint - big spending and big government does not exactly differentiate the GOP from certain other parties.

  • Kelso - 15 years ago

Although I voted for "No One"; Sarah is the de-facto leader of the GOP. The fact that she gets more votes than Jindal, McConnell, Boehner, McCain and "Other - Not Named" speaks volumes.

  • Jeffrey JP - 15 years ago

Good grief. Sarah Palin?!?! It will be decades before the Republicans gain power again if we look to politicians like Sarah Palin as our singular leader. It's a bogus question. There is no one "leader" of the Repubs. There is some interesting new (and young) blood coming into ranks right now. Let's have this discussion in 3 years when it matters. Some will emerge, others will fade (hopefully) out of the conscience. But please do not give me "Sarah Palin" is the leader of this movement. Not my leader. Why is Jindal the only new blood on the list? There are some great leaders in office righht now that nobody pays any attention to. Look beyond Fox news for your info people. The cost is too great. Sarah Palin!?!? Geez.
