There is no reason for anyone to strike. I have heard so many times of people complaining about the money that they are making. Here is some news people, you agreed to work for that amount. if you want more money than what you are makeing now, FIND ANOTHER JOB! There are plenty of people out of work who will gladly take what the job you are complaining about. wether it is their benifits you dont like or if it is how much you get paid, be happy that you have a job right now!

"State employees" covers a lot of professions. Teachers, Highways Administration, Police/Public Safety, & Health & Human Resources to name a few. This means there are a lot of specialized workers that have been trained/educated to do the work they do.
Bob I agree that any of these employees can go find higher pay in ANY OTHER STATE, but why should they have to do that??? I believe all WVn's are hard workers and are proud of what they do, they deserve fair pay and if striking helps get this point across then they should be allowed to do so. Teachers alone are so underpaid in WV it is shameful. Laborers in a poultry processing plant make the same annually as do the teachers. Granted WV is not a rich state, but it really need to get its priorities straight!
State employees do not have the privilege as our U.S. Congress does to vote themselves a high percentage pay increase every year.
