Do you think it's fair that employers should be required to give sick days to their employees, even if it would cost the company more money?

I feel 2 days a year would't be asking too much.

What is wrong with the American people. Everyone gets sick usually once a year. If you have health problems such as insulin pump dependent; there are times you cannot control getting sick. If you are really sick there will be professional documentation to back it up. Some people live by the rules and others abuse them. That is going to happen no matter what. When people use their sick days up they are gone. But at least give the honest ones a break. Why should they have to pay for the wrong of others.

Small business owners have a tough enough time now trying to keep their doors open. How are we supposed to pay for days not worked?? I don't force my employees to show up when they are sick, I just don't think it's fair to expect me to pay them. The additional cost will eventually be passed on to the customers.
