'No' is nearer the truth for me than 'yes', but I really need a 'sometimes' to be more accurate. I do tend to open such blogs, but only from a very limited group of bloggers.
I need a "sort of" option as well. I just scan them and see if something catches my eye, very rarely do I click on one.
No for me too as I think there are too many ways to get updates on such issues, I may however think of choosing/finding new about new bloggers if I was interested in something new via delecious or similar as it provides a stamp from the masses on useful resources.
Once u r in a feild you should pretty much know who u want to read from and follow their updates - that sounds like twitter. I use google reader to tell me of new blog posts by subscribed bloggers and also it suggests some new blogs to you from tim eto time.
Blog posts need to give me something other than a list of links. I want content, preferably original, definitely readable. If I happen across a blog o' links, there are several other blogs on the web.
No. I know how to use Delicious and I have a rough idea of who might have links I need so I'll go and find them as and when I need them.
I did have a 'depends who it is' option, but figured everyone would click that even if you've only read them once. So, although it masks subtlety, I wanted to force voters to go one way or the other.
Once upon a time I used to think this was a good idea and do it myself, but I'm becoming increasing alienated by automated link collection posts which don't add any value such as a commentary or examples of use.
I said No, but the truth is that I may scan them - it depends on several factors, with perhaps my time being the biggest one. Secondarily some are 'written up' more effectively which encourages me to read (the more comment there is the more likely I am to read - a list of links is just about guaranteed to get a 'mark as read' and move on)
I read them if they're annotated and they're from a source I respect for good recommendations; I skip lists of bare links.
I skim, as other commenters say. I'm more likely to read closely if it's Diigo, since there are usually annotations that give me more of a sense of why I should be paying attention.
