The fact that Like a Rolling Stone - Bob Dylan is not on this list is a travesty

Stairway is definitely too easy a choice, but I feel it's also an incorrect one. While an unbelieveable piece of music it's not "ROCK!" The winner of this poll should be an honest in your face rocker. Can't believe I had to write in Sweet Emotion. Whatever. To each his own.

All Along the Watchtower, Kashmir, and Reaper Closed my eyes and pointed. Turned out Watchtower is the better of them. However, I do believe Stairway ruined the data by being the "easy" choice for most.

Why, oh why, Stairway to heaven? Its not a good song, and nowhere near Zepplin's best.
I went for Truckin' in the end, one of the greatest ever and just has that great, laid back, travelling feeling

Surprised I had to enter 'Hey Jude' by The Beatles. Maybe not some of the bands greatest work but definitely one of the bestselling and popular.

Wow, that was tough. In the end I went with Bohemian Rhapsody. For me it's all about the memories that strike when each of these songs is played and if REO Speedwagon's "Ridin' the Storm Out" or Journey's "Lights" were an option, I may have gone that way. Hendrix, The Who, Led and Skynyrd are all true classics a well. But in the end, Queen and the mid to late seventies are my faves.

It came down to Hotel California, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Stairway to Heaven for me and I went with Stairway. Hotel California is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, Bohemian Rhapsody is an exquisite party song, but Stairway has just the right mix of soft beats, cool feats, and rockin' sweet riffs and vocals.
More Than a Feeling, Life on Mars, Rock and Roll Aint Noise Pollution, and My Generation were all up there as well.
I'm surprised that American Pie, Comfortably Numb (a personal favourite of Pink Floyd), and Paranoid haven't gotten any votes.
