Do you think the stimulus bill will help create new jobs?

The stimulus package is set up to fail, by having the monies heading to the wrong places and for the wrong reasons. We needed a very direct and specific package of between $350 and $450 billion. The amount of waste (pork) in this bill is sickening. The United States that I grew up in and that my father and brother defended in two wars (WW II and Viet Nam) ended with the election of President Obama. we need to start getting used to "USSA" - United Socialist States of America, because that is exactly what this plan is the start of.
We, as Americans, need to act now to do what damage control that is possible. First, write your House and Senate members, those in charge of the House and senate - especially Representative Nancy Pelosi (the most powerful and perhaps most dangerous person in the country after President Obama). Also, BUY AMERICAN. If the store you shop at doesn't carry what you want made in the USA, request it - as often as necessary to get the point across. Also, learn all you can about what the real story is. Go to the government web sites, Fox News, WTOC, and become an informed citizen. Apathy is our enemy.
The last and most important thing we must do is pray. God is in everything we do, but if we don't seem interested in our government, why should He? Take care and may God Bless the U.S.A.

I am amazed that people in this day and age still believe in fairy tails. Nothing is free! There are no golden goose eggs and someone must pay. Sorry this is a fact! For every dollar intrusted to our government for proper disbursement it will cost the taxpayer money. We will pay no matter what politicians say. Wake up and see the truth. This package only says it will help create jobs so these job holders can pay increased taxes starting 2 years from now. WITH INTEREST!

i dont under stand it is not helping us the poor people i cant even afford my med anymore so i dont see where it is helping the poor my dauther ele bill runs over 500.00 a mounth the only help ill get is from god ill keep my faith in gog

It is a shame so many people think our government is the answer to all of the problems. Where is it written that our government is suppose to keep helping bail out not only the big companies like the three major car Co. But to help all the poor people too. I am not rich, but i do not thing my government should pay my bills, nor put me through school. Did our President have help?? and he was not rich, NO, stop waiting for a fix from your government or else they will control your life.
