In last night's press conference, did the President make his case to you for his stimulus plan?

President Obama appears unwilling or incapable of engaging in any indepth dialogue that would call his policies into question. As an educated tax payer, that deeply offends me! His speech, as with his campaign for office, was rife with rhetoric and generalities and little substance. Our government was founded on the principle that it was formed to serve the needs of the people. While paying lip service to that principle, President Obama in reality acts as if the people existed solely to lend credibility to his beliefs. History records that when a government is held sacred and above the will of the individual it is supposed to serve, it is called a fascist state. Tragically enough, far too many citizens are surrendering their will to the government collectively and to Barack Obama specifically. The price tag for the financial crisis may be calculated in trillions. The price tag for the latter has yet to be written!!
