I would think they would be able to use a vacation day if they hadn't used them all already, therefore not really using any pay.
It's 2 days a month! Get over it, take one for the team!
Think of it this way, you can take 2 days off (or possibly more) and everyone maybe gets to keep their job..or you can whine and some get axed..maybe even YOU.
I'll take 4 days a week and a steady paycheck over unemployment. Learn to live within your means.
