Inspiration is so unpredictable, that I had to put other... You can setup a routine or method of getting inspired, but most of the time it comes to me when I least expect it. So I always have a voice recorder in the car, a pen/paper next to my bed and I carry my small digital camera pretty much everywhere else I go (it records voice as well... for those spontanious ideas.
As for on the web, it comes to me anywhere and everywhere. Email, youtube, CNN, Ebay, twitter, blogs, sites, even error codes!
Denise, your generous links on twitter are also a source of inspiration... now what can I do with a poll on a cosmetics site? hmmmmmmmm...?
