The man should at least be given the 5 years on his contract. In addition, if he shows some improvement and brings in someone to improve the offense next year, he should be given more time. This business of givi ng coaches only five years to build a program is ludicrous. Without continuity, we will always be hiring a new coach every 5 years at least, and the truly talented coaches won't give us a second glance.
