Should the Graduation Ball be held in May or July?

It's a nice idea to have the ball after graduation week rather than exms, but alot of people might be away during the summer and also not many people will have accommodation during July so perhaps not many will come?

It is a nice idea to have it in July, but I think more people will attend in May and its a time which we be more convenient

Not only is having the graduation ceremonies right in the middle of the summer already very inconvenient, now suggesting to have the ball (which I really do want to attend) at this time as well just increases my expenditure and inconvenience. As the girls have said above, most people will be home and won’t have accommodation to hang around a week after graduation day to be going to the ball. PLEASE keep in in May!!!!

July would be better from my own viewpoint because I work in schools and colleges and they break up around that time. But I can understand why others may want the Graduation Ball in May, with the euphoria straight after the exams.

Keep the graduation ball in May! its very inconvenient to come back in july with no accomodation to crash at after the ball!
Also its a nice thing to look forward to after the stress of exams!

I think it should be kept in may because it will never good attendence in July due to work,holidays,placements etc. Also those of us who don't live in liverpool already have travel and accommodation expenses in July when we have to come back for graduation so we could be doing without extra costs!! keep it in May its best all round!!!

I dont care when the ball is held. Im a distance learning student and will be travelling to attend. I just want to know when it is so I dont miss it!!
