I was with the understanding that these letters were to be 100 words or less #3 is WAY over 100 words ,I dont think that is fair to the other people that have entered.
Please...give me a break. So, the letter is a little over the word limit. You must have been one of those kids that when asked to write a 200 word composition for school, after each sentence you sat there and counted each word and when you reached exactly 200 you stopped writing even if the composition wasn't quite up to par. Some people like to complete their thoughts and don't base their feelings on word count.
Jeez, controversy already. I'll bet that wasn't the longest letter submitted. I know that I went way over. I wasn't chosen which sucks but I'm not going to bitch about it. The was chosen to be contenders are obviously could use the night out.
I think next time I'll lay it on thick in my letter to get chosen.

I can understand why you may me upset of you only wrote to 100 words but I didn't see that as a reason for not being picked if you went over. Calm down people. Unless you are upset cause number 3 is a lesbian.
#2 could use the night out. With all those kids, I'd be needing a night out real bad! As for #3 being to long, I didn't see anything saying longer than 100 words will be rejected. They obviously didn't want 18 pages but 2 paragraphs are fine. Chill out.
