What do you think of economic tools such as TIF, community improvement district taxes or transportation district taxes?



They are worthwhile, especially in these economic times, to help spur new development.

I am against them. They pass along the costs to consumers, or take it away from other important entities such as the school district.

They are good, but only when used very sparingly, for projects that will create a lot new jobs.

Huh? I have no idea what these things are.
