simplicity is the ultimate sophistication... but this logo/patch exhibits nothing more than a stale, uninspired design aesthetic the Mets organization should be ashamed of. Where is the thoughtfulness? A nod to a 40-year legacy and a spirited expression to a new future? It's freakin' NY. Fans deserve better. Perhaps the Mets (for which i have loved much of my 42 years...) need to hire a design professional to understand the value of graphic design, rather than hand an assignment like this to an admin assistant.

You have to be kidding me. Did the Mets sell their soul for this stupid logo.
Dominos Pizza Corp will benefit from Jeff Wilpon's stupidity. I am a lifetime Mets fan - can we ever show some class? I hate the Yankees and the Phillies - however their managerial organizations are so far superior to the Wilpon minions.
And can we get a good starter and bat - all is Fred Wilpon dedicated to mediocrity......
