How can this be good when the team he came from was almost twice as bad as our record. Our defense was 8 and 8. His was 5 and 11. All I can say is WTF.
Ok! The Jags were one of very few teams to rival the Saints on the IR totals for the season. Look at his freakin resume. I know DelRio has his hands as deep in the jags defense as Payton does our offense, but this guy will be able to work with porter, smith, grant, mcray (etc.) and put them in situations to excell.
I agree Coxner, he has the defensive scheme that our defense needs, UNPREDICTABLE blitzing, he's gonna also help pick up defense players from the draft and FA. The Jags may have sucked last year, but look at his resume from the teams before that, he transformed teams into defensive nightmares. CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!!! Good pick Coach Payton!!!
