In-World Charity Events and Fundraisers:
The fundraising events in SL are always legitimate, on the level, transparent, and I am glad SL residents take time to raise funds for helpful RL charities.
The fundraising events in SL are usually legitimate. Most all seem on the level, and once in awhile I spot a scam-fundraiser event in SL, but these are obvious and usually easy to avoid.
I do not know if SL fundraising events are legit. I assume they are honest.
I generally think most inworld fundraisers and charities are not honest, and are scamming people out of their money.
I only believe, support, and donate to the in-world fundraisers when the organization provides a government registered tax or non-profit number, as well as proof of the donations being sent.
