From 1st in command to the very bottom levels, INCLUDING POLITICIANS, ALL should be tested, and regularly. Take a good look around, anybody with me on this one?

I believe anyone in any job should be tested on a regular basis but a surprise check.. I work at a hospital and I know half of my co-workers come to work high....someone could get hurt....some reek of alcohol too I agree with Del totaly

Absolutely!! The ACLU is on the wrong side of the fence on this one. Random drug testing in no way infringes upon the rights of anyone nor does it constitute an invasion of privacy. The results of your poll speak volumes on this subject. I was tested many times, as a result of a random drawing of the last digit of my SSAN, during my Navy career. No big deal......of course I had nothing to hide. Makes me very suspicious of those who "doth protest too much" !!

I happen to know a few people who work for the government who get high all the time. They pass their drug tests and still have a job. If they are going to place on the application that a person has to pass a drug test just to be considered for the job, then random drug testing should take place. A lot of government workers do things that require them to be alert, focused, and intelligent at all times. Being high, even off the job, can cause brain damage so I think everyone will feel safer knowing a pot head isn't guarding our country.
