How should Beede Center management respond to swim team parents’ concerns?



Do nothing: Everything is fine

Hold a meeting to figure out the disconnect

Send home a flyer

Write letters to the editor, just like the parents did

The issue certainly should be addressed. Beede management and the high school should be one happy family. The CC swim and dive team shouldn't be looked at as an inconvenience. I'm pretty sure if it weren't for the high school and the swim and dive team the Beede center wouldn't be in exsistence.

The Beede Center was a GIFT from mostly Concord parents (Carlisle was barely present here!). While I appreciate the needs and concerns of the Swim Team, I must say that the public letter writing campaign by parents was a huge turnoff for me...someone who has contributed a great deal of time and money to Concord youth (our children are grown up and long gone). It feels like an entitlement mentality to me...and I think those parents and the CC Regional School Committee should re-think their approach to these things. Very disappointed in them. The Beede Center is wonderful - a great COMMUNITY ASSET. THe swim team had nothing to do with making this happen.
