I use open office's equivalent to powerpoint. It's free and excellent. http://www.openoffice.org/ is the place to avail yourself of it!

I have converted to Mac so I use Keynote and it is great.
I also use "LiveWorship" when I am on my Mac.
I build the presentations in powerpoint but run the song service and message using Easy Worship. I was surprised not to see SongShow Plus on here. We used to use it but switched to make it easier for volunteers.
if you are using a lot of live video or motion backers, it's hard to beat ProPresenter. We could never find a PC with enough resources to make Media Shout do what it was supposed to without crashing.
We also use ProPresenter. Is a powerful application and is very easy to train users. With their site license, it makes it perfect for church with multiple ministry rooms.
