Steve probably played a very big hand in the design and layout of the presentation. Even though he didn't give it, his style is still stamped all over it.

Phil needs some practice but it wasn't bad for a first timer leading the show. pity he didn't have one really good thing to get folks up off their feet. i mean the ilife and iwork are nice updates. DRM free and 3g music downloading is cool. but most folks expected the macbook pro update so it wasn't that big of a deal. had he had an imac update with the graphics card and mini display as well that would have helped. perhaps an announcement of a new home server which combines the apple tv and time capsule into one system. that would have gone over well. something to make folks cheer. guess they had already paid their money and had to say something.
