I would like to know who chooses the headlines for your articles?! How could you ask people to vote on their "favorite" story, and then offer choices like the closing of Pontillo's, a longtime local business? Mr and Mrs Pontillo put so much into the community for so many years and this is the thanks they get? Are there actually people who find enjoyment in the Pontillo family (or any other family for that matter) falling on hard times that they can admit to those stories being their "favorite" story of the year? I personally think it's pretty disgusting. Apparently there are still many people who have nothing better to do than thrive on the misfortunes of others. Mr and Mrs Pontillo were wonderful people and their recent deaths, then the closing of the business they spent their whole lives working at makes the situation even sadder. I wish Paul, Sam & John Pontillo the best of luck!

Are you kidding me? Pontillo's is the biggest story? What about the poor family of four in Byron that died in a fire in May??
