So just so I'm clear, it's unacceptable for a comedian to run for an office but it's perfectly acceptable to have a WWF mock-wrestler as a governor, Kindergarten Cop as a governor, and a beauty queen turned idiot as a failed VP candidate? If we're going to set standards, fine but don't single out Franken as unqualified when you've got those yahoos running around in all the other states.

What a revolting turn of events. This hit me like a ton of bricks, I thought that it was done and Coleman had the election until the Dems started their shenanigans. Franken, aka Stuart Smalley, that friggin idiot as a United States Senator, what are you people thinking in Minnesota?

Half Black, not Muslim, and who gives a rodent's rectum what his middle name is? Jeez, the misinformation you find on the Internet, which I'm sure you believe was invented by Al Gore. You read in on the Internet. It must be true.

When are the pundits going to start pondering "why can't republicans win any elections?" When's the last time a republican "won" without stealing?

Gregoire won in 2004 and vastly increased her lead when her mandate to lead was affirmed in 2008 by the voters.

Americans hate Bush and they hate republican crybabies that whine over their (mounting) lost elections now that it's harder to steal them. That's why we now have a black, Muslim President with a middle name of Hussein. That's how much republicans are hated.

That's why Franken will enact his progressive mandate - hard!

    Cry, crybaby, cry.

Seems too much like Washington state 4 years ago and we all know how wimpish the Republicans are. It happened in California under Dornan too.

And with Soros's man as Secretary of State and the Democrats and liberal Republicans in control of the MN Supreme Court. What irks me is why Republicans don't get security installed in voting and voting registration and candidate eligibility vetting, as well as getting Instant-Runoff-Voting (IRV) in place when they have power. They seem to whittle away their opportunities when they're in power such as doing nothing more than dealing in pork.

Been there done that in Washington state, four years back? It seems like yesterday...oh it is in Minnesota. They have the same legal teams in Minnesota that Gregoire had here. The motto is, "keep counting, until your ahead, and then stop". Looks like its going as planned. Like Washingtonians, over half of Minnesotans are absolute idiots.
