I would love to ride my mountain bike year round, but living in Michigan makes that impossible. Today for example, it is 10 degrees above zero with slippery surfaces everywhere. Better to stay in and plan for warmer weather.
We're from MI and figured it out.......go to FL in the winter (we're retired)! They have rail trails in the country and urban trails...which ever you like they have. We have a travel trailer and try to camp different places and ride different trails. Going back in the spring we will catch some trails in other states.
