Where do you draw the line?

Big problem with your test. Ovals between F and G should be moved or removed and you'll get much more consistent responses to this little experiment. I agree Brad Horras, Tim Kesinger, and Sam that this pair of ovals in the middle is a problem.

The ovals between the F and G lines don't seem to be in the appropriate location.

I chose to draw the line at B--marks in both ovals after A appear intentional, imo measuring degrees of intention is too subjective; voters should be encouraged to request a new ballot if they've purposefully made a mark for more than one candidate.

Half way through the lineup, people are choosing the "F" option because there is very little contrast between the markings of the top and bottom ovals.

Voter intent is revealed by the relative shading of the top vs. bottom oval, therefore the 7th oval set belongs on the far right side of the lineup where the marked contrast is less than the 8th, 9th, and 10th set of ovals. Without this adjustment your test is flawed.

I disagree with MPR's ordering of the circles. It is clear for many on the right side that a mark was made in the top, but the bottom circle is entirely filled in. The 5th from the right is an overvote, yet the 4th from the right is obviously a vote for the bottom circle. Amount of ink alone doesn't necessarily portray a voter's intent.
