What do you think of the new holiday lights in Lexington Center?

They look great!

They're not as bright as the old ones, but that's OK because they're more efficient

Bring the old ones back

Not Color Blind

The new lights (all of the lights: trees on Green and Depot Sq as well as lights in the trees) are horrible: they are garish, and are unbalanced in brightness. On the tree on the Green, the blue lights are so much brighter that they dominate the display. The lights in the trees have a off white greenish hue: if you want to do a comparison, look at the Police Booth at the foot of Waltham Street. Some of the lights are the new LED lights, the icicle lights are older incandescent lights. No comparison.

These new LED lights ruin the soft glow of the single candle lights in the windows of the houses on the Green.

I consider this a step backwards in our evolution: we should have waited until the LED folks got their color spectrum and white balances in order.

oh well

First Concord last year, now Lexington this year. The LED lights, in my opinion, are pretty disappointing - dim and uninspiring. I feel much more holiday cheer from the home decorations than the town ones.
