I think that this poll is absolutly rediculous and whoever created this needs to get a life. So every movie that was ever made that depicts indians as savages must be racist too, because we all know that they never wore moccasins, or used hatchets or wore feathers. Oh wait they did, it was part of their culture. And some of you put that the mascots look angry? Isn't that the point? Why don't we have freaking teddy bears as mascots then you all can be happy. I think that all the mascots look like an Indian. The problem with society is that everyone is too easily offended. Next you will be saying that all mascots look too angry and it is sending out a negative message to our children. Everyone should have butterflies and rainbows as mascots. The sad thing is, is my tax dollars are probably paying for this non-profit organization to poll on whether or not a highschool mascot is racist or not. I'm sure that their intentions were inocent when they picked their mascots and I hope that none of them change. That is like me saying that I am offended by the New England Patirots because their mascot looks angry and the mascot depicts patriots in a negative way. Absolutly rediculous, get a hobby.

What does Custer have to do with anything? First, he was a self involved, ego-manical, pompous ass. Second, if he would have listen to his scouts instead of the voices in his head he would have saved himself and the lives of his men.
