I think Lakewood will win, but it will be close. Lakewood is healthy and is hot at the right time. they beat a very good Mission Viejo team with ease. with Stone back Lakewood is hard to stop, giving them a good running game along with Scroggins passing attack. Lakewood wins 21-17 in a thriller!!! i am also a Lakewood alumni from 1979. this is the best team i have seen in a long time.
Just wanna say that LHS sucks. Lakewood thinks it's a special neighborhood, trust me i grew up here. They will lose purely because of lack of heart, LONG BEACH POLY RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lakewood will win the game on friday...they have a very strong offense and defense..with tawaun lucas , stone , and dawaun lucas they running game can't be stop...not to mention scroggins @ qb...poly ain't go stand a chance...its goin to be a big upset on friday....I predict score...24 -21 ..

Lakewood's confidence level is extremely high right now, and they are no longer intimated by Long Beach Poly. I feel that this is Lakewood's year and they will play smart on Friday night. Long Beach Poly is an outstanding team and I take nothing from them, but you have to loose sometime. Look at De Lasalle they finally lost and they are still holding their heads high like champions and they should. Overall I think the game will be close and exciting, and finally the Moore League will get the respect they deserve. Go Lancers!
Lakewood is peaking, strong offense and defense, not intimidated. Poly has not looked that good in playoffs thus far and Lakewood has.

I played agianst lakewood before. they are a stong power team. I have alot of friends on that team. they are going to win. the oline is solid. jerry has great vision. the defence is great wit erno at middle linebacker. so i think lakewood will take this one....

Lakewood wins 31-28 in an Overtime thriller! Should be a great game. Coach Lara didn't fare too well against Lakewood's '82 and '83 teams when he was a linebacker and he will go down again.
