Now that we're officially in a recession, how much longer do you think it will last?

Wake up people!!!!!!!!!!

It will not end until we bring back our jobs!!!! What part of this recession problem do people just not understand?????? We have GIVEN AWAY hundreds of thousands of jobs to India, China, Vietname, Estonia, etc, etc, etc.

With those jobs goes, not just the worker onto the unemployment rolls, but his/her contribution to the United States tax revenue (duh, I wonder where all the revenue has gone off too?) and each State's tax revenue (gee, wonder why each of our states are up to BILLIONS in the red?) and our local city's tax revenue as well.

In addition to the local, state and federal tax base being washed away, so too is the spending power of the outsourced worker. Its GONE. These workers cant buy goods and services as they once used to which affects the local and regional economies.

So........... while the idiots who gave jumbo mortages to people who make not-so-jumbo salaries, back in the late 90's and early 2000's, has also affected the economy -- the CORE PROBLEM is the fact that we've also allowed Bank of America, Wachovia, IBM, America Express, Citicorp and the like to GIVE OUR JOBS AWAY!

While each of those buffoons that calls themselves CEOs lied to us about how much money they'll save with CHEAPER labor, the didnt tell us that they simply didnt know how to run a business AND SAVE that money they saved. You can see it with the complete and utter FAILURE of some of these companies AND the fact that the remaining ones are crying for bailout money. These CEOs and their idiot upper management cohorts should all be FIRED. Gee, I think we can find a CEO or two in India to do their job for 50,000 per year instead of FIVE MILLION, no?

And lets not forget all of the manufacturing and medical speciality and financial specialty and customer service jobs. We're not just talking about technology workers you know. TONS of other jobs have been GIVEN AWAY as well.

Want to fix things? Get the jobs back. Its NOT rocket science. Its common sense and its the ONLY thing that will work. Doesnt take a supposed genius in the Federal Reserve to figure this crap out.

Problem is, most people are still asleep.
