OK, if this song was suitable for the show, the producers would have made it the soundtrack. Did they? No, the gave the job to Michael Giacchino, the best composer around at the moment. Let's face it, if it doesn't have chord I-III progressions or ridiculous numbers of trombone blasts at the end of every phrase interspersed by low harp pedals, it's not Lost.
