Gallas has played well in spells this season particularly against Man U but he is not a leader. The captaincy should go to Cesc with Clichy as his deputy. They both drag the team forward when our will seems to be failing against teams that come to defend. However to win things this season we need a proper no nonsense defensive midfielder who will close teams down like Sidwell did to us on Saturday.
