Bayless, Roy, Webster, Aldridge, Oden.
Sergio, Roy, Batum, Aldridge, Pryz
sergio, roy, rudy, LA, Oden. With blake, bayless, outlaw, frye, pryz as the 2nd unit.
Prizbilla, Aldridge, Batum, Roy, Fernandez...no matter what, got to play Roy & Fernandez together, backcourt of the future. If they can't mesh together, will have to eventually trade one or the other. Both are too good to sit.
Roy, Fernandez, Aldridge, Oden, Przybilla
Roy, Fernandez, Batum, Aldridge, Oden Sergio, Bayless, Webster, Outlaw, Przybilla
I think the starters should be Bayless, Roy, Batum, Aldridge, Oden. Then off the bench it should be Rodriguez, Fernandez, Webster, Outlaw, Przybilla
rodriguez, fernandez, roy, aldridge, and oden
Roy, Fernandez, Batum, Aldridge and Oden
Blake Roy Batum Aldridge Oden
sergio, roy, batum, aldridge, oden.
1st Unit = Roy, Rodriguez, Batum, Aldridge, Oden 2nd Unit = Fernandez, Blake, Outlaw, Frye, Przybilla personally, with our talent, I think, especially once Webster is back, we should go with a 48 minutes of hell concept a la Nolan Richardson's Arkansas teams. at that point, 1st unit would = Roy, Rodriguez, Webster, Aldridge, Oden take it at a slower pace, run a set 1/2 court offense, establish early dominance then a generally wholesale substitution, late in the first or early in the second, of the 2nd unit = Fernandez, Blake, Outlaw, Frye, Przybilla change of pace, press the ball coming up court, gamble, go for steals, out-quick the other team, create match-up problems (and I ain't talking about peeking thorugh the blinds). Each unit has three main offensive options, a couple of decent defenders, and different looks and match-ups to fluster the opposition. and when you really want to put the accelerator to the floor, just squeeze the last gasp of breath out of your oppenent then shift, as appropriate, to unit 2.5 = Bayless, Fernandez, Batum, Outlaw, Frye a mad scramble of swarming defense, insane phoenix to the golden state power run and gun offense.
They may start with Blake, Roy, Batum, Aldridge, Przybilla but end with Roy, Fernandez, Aldridge, Oden and TO
Who starts is really irrelevant. It's all about who gets the most minutes and who is in the game at the end. Based on this, your best 5 are Roy, LA, Oden, Rudy and Blake (or Outlaw) depending upon match-ups and need.
I would start roy, fernandez, batum, aldridge, oden
i would go with Bayless, Roy, Batum, Aldridge and Przybilla right now. Sure it would give Steve and Sergio less minutes but I also think it would give Rudy, and our bench more of an opportunity to score while playing next to an experienced PG and a true FIVE who commands double teams.
bayless, roy, batoom, aldridge, oden
Rodriguez, Fernandez, Roy, Aldridge, Oden
blake, roy, webster (when he returns), la, oden
Here's the deal. Sergio has to control the ball if he is going to do his damage. There is no use having him in, if Roy is running the point. So my starting 5 would be whoever Mcmillian think's is the best group to start, probably Blake, Roy, Batum(Web), LA, Prysbilla. But its the sub order that matters. Rudy at 7 min for Blake. At 4 min left in first you sub sergio, oden, and outlaw for Roy, Prysbilla, and Batum, and you run. Breakneck speed for next 4 minutes. They get 2 minutes of rest between 1st and 2nd, and you start the 2nd with them running for 3 more minutes during which you start subbing in for whoever is tired. Outlaw has Asthma so you may have to sub for him first. Then you pull out Oden and continue small with LA or Frye at center, and Roy bak in, etc. Keep gunning. Play like our gold medal team at the olympics. They weren't hurting because they had "too much talent" they just played super balls out defense and sub out continuously. My 2 cents. Go Blazers!
Roy, Rudy, Batum, Outlaw, Oden until Aldridge gets it together.
