Why is it that we can pay to bail out some banks...where the executives, even after recieving the money, are still spending it on nonsense like spa trips. "Because They deserve it", but we can't help out our big 3, which will prevent the loss of millions of jobs? Doesn't make any sense. And people are out there trying to buy cars...its just that these banks are still tightened up, and they don't want to lend money to anyone with less than a 700 credit score.

I think that if you people wanted to stimulate the economy, we should have just split up that 700 billion dollars we are all paying for, amongst the people of the united states. I know if I had that large amount of extra money, I'd sure be stimulating the economy.

Is the Goverment bailing out the Homeowners that are loosing their homes because of this Nations irresponsible leaders? We need to pray for them that is all they should get. Go sell your Homes and take care of your problems by yourselves. That's what they need to do.BOOOO!!!!!

I think this poll should have had a "Not Sure" option, because I really need more information on this one. I really don't understand why the "Big Three" chose to focus on vehicles that were not as fuel efficient as Honda or Toyota. On the other hand, I'm worried about the job loss that may take place if we don't bail them out. If the money really will save the millions of jobs that may be lost, I say we should bail them out. Yet, I’m worried about how long the stability will last after giving them this money.

I believe that if the government is going to bail out anyone, it should be the individuals of this Nation! What about all of the hardworking people that are losing their homes through no fault of their own? The banks caused this mess with their ridiculous lending practices. If the government had split that 7 Billion dollars among the people, that would have been a real stimulus. People would be able to pay off their debt and the banks wouldn't have to be worried about being bailed out. As for the car makers, the notion of them having to be bailed out is absolutely ridiculous. Why don't all the executives of those companies take a huge pay cut and put their own money back into the business? They won't because they don't care about their employees and the actual company. They worry about keeping themselves in the style that they have become accustomed. The whole situation makes me sick!
