Well, so far Archbishop Murphy and Prosser are getting the most votes, which makes sense since they're the the top two teams in the state according the the latest Associated Press Class 2A poll. ... To those of you who voted are might yet vote: Tell me why the team you picked has the best chance to win it all. Is it because of an unstoppable offense? A particularly favorable matchup? A difference-making individual? Share your comments and we can have a fun conversation.

I believe Prosser will win the state 2A Championship because they have to many good receivers, a great quarterback, 3 good running backs, and a good defense also. I know all anyone talks about is Kirby Moore, and for very good reasons, but there are three other good receivers. A new runnning back has emerged in the last few weeks, and the starter is not bad either. They have played a 4A school and won, in their house, and last week against Selah, a team that was defeated 33-13 three weeks ago was thrashed 53-14 last week. It was 6-0 1st quarter, 34-0 half time, and 53-0 when Selah finally scored, long after the 1st and 2nd string players were out of the game. On paper they look like they should repeat, but the games are not played on paper.

Larry: Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It sounds like Prosser has a huge variety of skill players. The Mustangs will be tough to slow down. Prosser has scored 570 points this season in 11 games -- an average of 51.8 points per game. On the other hand, Archbishop Murphy has allowed just 13.2 points per game, and a total of seven points in two playoff games. ... Hey cwac pride: It's fine if you disagree with Larry, but try posting something constructive. Tell us what you think about the teams. There's no need for childish remarks here.
