My entire household believes David's bonus tracks are tops, especially those he wrote & co-wrote. I hope enough people are hearing them to make this voting fair. I cannot imagine a concert without him singing 'Somebody Out There' and "Works for Me!" These songs represent why he sings (the message in the lyrics and the emotional connection). Need I say there is clearly no bad song on the album. And don't discount me as too old. While I do love the ballads (a lot) I also love Desperate, ALTNOY, and even....whistle, whistle....YEDL.

I have to agree with the first poster. As a 48 y/o guy I am really happy with David's album, but especially with the "extra" songs (still don't know why they were left off the album). Let me Go, Somebody Out There are awesome songs that really appeal to "older" folks along with Desperate, Falling, ATNOY etc. It would be nice to see David do some of these songs to bring in more of this segment of the population. We understand the need to focus on the younger crowd but David is so versatile that he has the opportunity to open his fanbase to the fullest if these songs can make it out to the public and show everyone what we know already, David is awesome!

I'm a Golden Archie myself and love all the songs on David's first album, some more than others. "Desperate" jumped out as my very favorite right off the bat, next "Barriers" just because I find them both to be more "edgy" than what we usually hear from David and I love the fact that he is showing another side to his musicality in such a short period of time. I actually find it hard to catch my breath while listening to "Desperate", it's so powerful! Two of the ballads which I cannot stop listening to are "To Be With You" which brings me to tears every time I listen and "You Can" which completely destroys me due to its simplistic perfection. "Are these the eys of someone you could love"?...c'mon David, don't tease us!..lol. I listened to the entire album in my car for the first time today and cranked it up full blast...all I can say is WOW! What a talent and what a deserving young man he is! As far as what he sings at Jingle Ball, it really doesn't matter...he'll be perfection as usual! Love you, David. Congratulations on your new album. I'm so proud of you I could burst!

Crush is a must since many non David fans may have heard it but not identified it with David A.
After Crush it is would totally depend on how the live band versions sound; I imagine they have to be changed considerably for a live performance. However, not being able to judge on live sounds I would pick from these:
Barriers
Desperate
Your Eyes Don't Lie
Let Me Go - with a guitar in David's hands
A Little Too Not Over You
Touch My Hand

I would not be inclined to pick any of these unless they the live sound is great:
You Can - I do like it very much but maybe too simple for many
Running -
Falling - too down for a christmas jingle celebration

Amazing how close the voting is! Shows how many GREAT songs there are on this album!

These are the five songs I picked for Jingle Balls, it was kind of tough for some: Crush (of course), Touch My Hand (next single, great live), You Can (my favorite, if I had to choose), Desperate (really want to hear this one), Angels (sentimental value and goes with the season). If I could pick another it would be ALTNOY because I really think it has great hit potential.

The five I chose were (in this order) : Waiting for Yesterday, Somebody Out There, Crush, A Little Too Not Over You, and Desperate. I am in love with the bonus tracks, and it would've been awesome if they were on the album. It would still be amazing to hear David sing them live.

Way too close to call. All loved for different reasons.

My teens, who I have not yet managed to convert to Davids side, prefer Your Eyes Don't Lie, unequivocally. Crush is a must. Desperate is one of my favourites, as is Falling. Touch My Hands will drive the girls MAD!

And there you have it!

How do I choose just 5?! I truly love the whole album including all bonus tracks, however, I settled on ALTNOY, You Can, Falling, My Hands and Your Eyes Don't Lie.....I didn't choose Crush or Touch my Hand since I figured they would already be automatically songs David would be singing, so that gave me two more that I could choose. :)

I would have to agree with the first two posts that bonus tracks are just amazing. When I first heard the whole ablum, I am like...wow...I can't pick one song that I dislike. However when I heard the bonus tracks, I have to say I am even amazed and started wondering how come they are not in the album especially "Somebody out there" which even disappear no where after release date. I would love to hear David perform this song live and let more people hear this wonderful song. Besides this one, Touch My Hand which should be a good one to sing in live concert, Barriers, You Can, and also Waiting for Yesterday or Works for Me. I love David's standard ablum but I have to say I am even more in love with the bonus tracks, especially SOT!

I hope there is a poll out there that reflect the teen population a little more heavily.

I agree, the bonus tracks are the BEST! "Works for Me" is my favorite. The lyrics of this song is just perfect, coming from a teenager like David A. I bought 2 copies, by the way. The deluxe and Walmart edition. The record company must have done that on purpose.. they really know how to make money :)

I'm as giddy as a teenager (48, I am)! It blows me away how close we are on the different tracks! True sign of a musical genius!!!

I have to admit I voted twice *hangs head in shame*. After listening to the album for the last 3 days, I've got some new favorites, that I just felt I had to vote for. "Works for me", and "Don't let go" have really, really grown on me, and given that David co-wrote them they rank a little higher in my opinion. I also LOVE "Barriers" and "You Can" and "To be with you" and of course there's "Touch my Hand" and "Crush". This album is amazing, whoever thought it would be difficult to pick your favorite 5?

Oh wait... and "A little too not over you", and "Waiting for Yesterday". Sorry, but 5 songs is not enough! Can we just have a solo tour, pretty please :)
