define "doing something." i went out from work to take a look at the parade that was cruising around town here where I am in NJ...and i also said sort of a silent "thank you," to all vets for the fact that i'm not speaking German or Russian or Chinese or whatever. but i didn't throw a damn party or go to a memorial ceremony
