Meredeth does a fine job, but Regis is the ultimate host. He could interact with the contestants, he knew when to milk it (see David Goodman) and when not to (see John Carpenter), his "accent" was so "New York".
I totally agree with Chad about Regis. Millionaire just isn't the same without Regis.
Yeah, Regis pretty much embodies Millionaire...
But I chose "Neither", simply because I wonder how much it would've helped the careers of Peter Tomarken, Bob Goen, Jim Peck, and a whole slew of others (at least they didn't go with Peter Jennings, like ABC originally planned).
