I recentely became aware of what i consider to be a major part of the problem with the BIG THREE AUTO MAKERS , everyone thinks that the upper management of the companies are the problem , well they are part of the problem , but the real problem is the UAW and all the perks they have negoitated over the years , such as cradle to grave medical coverage and things like , if an employee gets laid off he or she will continue to draw a salery until they get another job and in most cases the salery can be more than an average worker in other industries make. The rest of us make do with standard unemployment. With their benefits a worker in the UAW make around $70.00 an hour. Get real why should we the taxpayers bail out the companies if these types of benefits continue..........Do the right thing ,say no to the bail outs.........
