As much as I hate when stores start ready-made pushing Christmas merchandise shortly after Labor Day, I very much like to have crafty/handmade info available as early as possible. Making stuff by hand takes times--and if you wait until a week or two before Christmas (or any holiday, for that matter) to tell us about a relevant craft, many people (myself definitely included) don't have time to make it.
How about doing "preview" posts about time-sensitive crafts? Say, three months before a particular holiday, do a post with lots of crafty ideas for those of us who want (or need!) to get an early start on those things? I for one would definitely love it!
