Should they put solar panels back on the White House?

Yes, the symbolism is as important as the energy.

Only if they are inconspicuous- it's a big roof, they can hide them.

That building has been around since 1950 (when it was completely rebuilt in concrete), you can't tamper with history like that

The White House is a relatively small footprint and surrounded by a lot of open space so they wouldn't be visible to many accept secret service and squirrels. We'd be better off building a highly visible solar farm in the middle of the mall where all could see our commitment to solar...a new monument to the beginning of the solar power revolution...
