Honestly, all these features rate fairly low in terms of "wow factor." Which might be nice, actually. WordPress.com will be generally more efficient to use and that's a nice deal for an incremental release. But the buzz/hype around 2.7 sounds just a bit bigger than it needs to be. In some ways, it's not as if WordPress went 3.0 on us, all of a sudden (with such basic features as enabling arbitrary code or adding podcasting support).
Looks pretty cool but I agree with the comment above me - nothing in video gave me that "wow" feeling...
I would appreciate some more website themes though...
I won't even mind to pay for some extra cool "premium" ones...
I can't wait for the Dashboard!
I'm more like: if you don't like a ship, dont get on board.
Wordpress has pros and cons like any other blog portal.
So, my personal take is completely positive about this new release.

Who cares about all this if you can't put line breaks in your posts!!! GIVE US BACK OUR LINE BREAKS. I'll gladly stick with the old Dashboard if we can have line breaks back!!!

These features may individually lack "wow" factor, but I think together they are fantastic! I am SO excited after seeing that preview, now that I have a better understanding of how this all should work. (Assuming, of course, that it does work as it should.)
My only thought is that there should be the ability to turn off post revisions, and/or clean them out occasionally, since this can bog down the database.
