With 12 rabbits, it's just prohibitive. Insurance can a good idea for owners with just a couple of rabbits, esp. if money is an issue in the long run.
I would have it for my pair, but there is no insurance company in New Zealand that will insure rabbits
I have only seen insurance for cats & dogs - i've written and asked about pet insurance for bunnies but as far as I know, there isn't a company in Canada that provides it. (unless there is something new now? Anybody have any info?)
We can't get insurance for bunnies in Canada. Mom asked but its not possible. With 21 bunnies she would insure them in a heartbeat.
