I'll guess it reamins about the same numbers year after year.
Employee theft is pretty consistent even during turbulent times and is not going away...
During a recent TV segment aired on the Today Show, NVGCB Enforcement Chief Jerry Markling commented on employee theft reaching 33% of all gaming related investigations. From 1999 to 2004 this number was closer to 41% alhtough since 9-11 through 2004 the actual number of employee investigations dropped by almost 60% as a total for investigations however the 41% ratio of employee to total investigations was constant. Employee theft could be checked and controlled if Enforcements are done
well by those quarters of people. So it calls for sheer focus and common sense
to be suspicious. Humans nature and greeds attribute to this act of theft.
